PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nova Aurelia LLC, a Florida limited liability company operating HoneyTech (“HoneyTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the HoneyTech website, UGC Client Acquisition System, Custom UGC Opportunity Audit, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create or use a HoneyTech account, we may collect information such as your email address, account identifiers, authentication information, email-verification status, and information necessary to manage your access to purchased products.

Passwords are processed through security measures designed to prevent us from storing your password in plain text.

Workspace and Business Information

When you use the HoneyTech workspace, we may store information you choose to enter, such as brand opportunities, research, contacts, pitches, pitch statuses, follow-ups, progress, settings, creative ideas, and other client-acquisition information.

Custom Audit Information

If you purchase a Custom UGC Opportunity Audit, we may collect information needed to perform the service, including your niche, portfolio information, creator experience, positioning, preferences, target brands or markets, goals, and other information you submit through the audit intake process.

Purchase and Transaction Information

When payments are enabled, purchases will be processed through a third-party payment provider. We may receive transaction-related information such as your payment status, product purchased, transaction identifier, refund or chargeback status, and information reasonably necessary to provide access and maintain financial records.

Payment-card details are processed by the applicable payment provider rather than stored directly by HoneyTech unless expressly stated otherwise.

Technical and Security Information

We may process technical information reasonably necessary to operate and secure HoneyTech, such as IP address, browser or device information, session information, timestamps, authentication events, security events, and information used to detect fraud, abuse, automated traffic, or unauthorized access.

Communications

If you contact us, we may retain your message, email address, and related correspondence so we can respond, provide support, maintain appropriate business records, or resolve disputes.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • create and administer accounts;
  • authenticate users and verify email addresses;
  • provide and maintain the HoneyTech platform;
  • store and display customer workspace information;
  • provide purchased products and custom services;
  • process and administer purchases, refunds, and access rights;
  • deliver transactional communications such as verification, password-reset, security, purchase, service, and audit-delivery messages;
  • provide customer support;
  • protect HoneyTech and its users against fraud, abuse, security threats, and unauthorized access;
  • troubleshoot and improve the reliability and functionality of the service;
  • maintain records required for accounting, tax, dispute, and legal purposes; and
  • comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

3. Marketing Communications

Creating an account or purchasing HoneyTech does not, by itself, mean that you must receive optional promotional marketing emails.

If HoneyTech offers marketing communications, we may request consent where required and provide a way to unsubscribe from promotional messages. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or service-related communications.

4. We Do Not Sell Customer Data

HoneyTech does not sell customers' personal information or client-acquisition/workspace data.

We also do not sell customer workspace information such as stored brands, contacts, pitches, creative concepts, research, or follow-up information.

5. Service Providers

We may use service providers that process limited information on our behalf to help operate HoneyTech. These may include infrastructure, hosting, database, security, email-delivery, and payment-processing providers.

HoneyTech currently uses Cloudflare infrastructure and security services, including Cloudflare Workers, D1, and Turnstile, and uses Resend for transactional email delivery. Payment-provider information will be presented as part of the applicable checkout and may also be reflected in this Privacy Policy as our payment systems evolve.

These providers process information under their own applicable terms, privacy policies, and contractual obligations.

6. Third-Party Websites and Services

HoneyTech may contain links or references to third-party services, including social networks, advertising libraries, app stores, professional networks, research tools, email-finding tools, and artificial-intelligence services.

When you independently visit or use a third-party service, that provider's privacy practices apply. HoneyTech does not control how independent third parties collect or use information you provide directly to them.

7. Cookies and Sessions

HoneyTech may use cookies or similar browser technologies that are necessary for authentication, account security, session management, and core service functionality.

For example, authenticated sessions may use secure cookies so that HoneyTech can recognize that you are signed in. We may also use technologies necessary to protect forms and authentication flows from automated abuse.

If HoneyTech later introduces optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy and any required consent mechanisms will be updated as appropriate.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information handled by HoneyTech. These measures may include server-side authentication, password hashing, secure session controls, access controls, email verification, rate limiting, security monitoring, and anti-abuse protections.

No internet service, database, transmission method, or security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain, and respond to the incident and provide notifications where required by applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide HoneyTech, maintain your account, fulfill purchased services, protect the platform, resolve disputes, maintain required business records, and comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, and security obligations.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it is retained.

10. Account Deletion and Data Export

Where supported by the product, active customers may export their workspace data.

When an account deletion request is completed, HoneyTech will delete or de-identify associated account and workspace data, subject to limited retention reasonably necessary for payment and transaction records, accounting, tax compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

To make a privacy request, contact support@hellohoneytech.com.

12. International Use

HoneyTech is operated by a Florida, United States company and may use service providers that process information in the United States or other countries. If you access HoneyTech from another jurisdiction, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with data-protection rules different from those where you live.

Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for international transfers, we will take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards.

13. Children's Privacy

HoneyTech is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly offer HoneyTech accounts or services to children under 18.

If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information through HoneyTech, contact us at support@hellohoneytech.com.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as HoneyTech evolves, our service providers change, new functionality is introduced, or legal requirements change.

When changes are material, we may provide reasonable notice through the website, product, or email where appropriate. The effective date at the top of this policy indicates when the current version became effective.
